Jeremy Sisto (Suburgatory) has signed on to star in Dick Wolf’s upcoming drama F.B.I., according to Deadline. The show also stars Zeeko Zaki (24: Legacy) and Connie Nielsen (Gladiator), and will consist of 13 episodes. F.B.I. is a co-production between Universal Television and CBS TV Studios. It’s the story of the goings on at the New York office of the F.B.I.

Jeremy Sisto will play FBI Assistant Special Agent in Charge. “He is in the sweet spot of his FBI career: experienced enough to honcho a sophisticated response, energetic enough to keep his team motivated. His ability to relate and engage easily to subordinates and superiors makes him “good glue” and sets him up as the nerve center of the office. Everybody thinks they know the ‘real’ man, but as open as he is, if you look closely, he takes in much more than he puts out.

Sisto, Zaki and Nielsen worked with Wolf before on some of the Law & Order series. The pilot episode for F.B.I. was written by Craig Turk, who will be the showrunner for the series. Executive producing are Turk, Wolf, Arthur W. Forney and Peter Jankowski. Niels Oplev will also executive produce and direct the first episode.

Jeremy Sisto starred on three seasons of Law & Order as Cyrus Lupo. He’s also known for ABC’s Suburgatory and The Returned. What do you guys think of Sisto joining F.B.I.? Let us know in the comments.
