Freddie Prinze Jr. and David Flynn to Star in I Mom So Hard Pilot

Freddie Prinze Jr. (24) and David Flynn (Undateable) will be starring opposite Kristin Hensley (Dads in Parks) and Jen Smedley (Literally So Busy) as the male leads in CBS‘ new pilot, I Mom So Hard, Deadline reports.

The pilot is a multi-camera comedy executive produced by Michelle Nader (2 Broke Girls), Rob Thomas (Veronica Mars), and Warner Bros. TV. Don Scardino (The Incredible Burt Wonderstone) will be directing. I Mom So Hard is based on the popular web series, #IMomSoHard, that was created by Hensley and Smedly and who are toplining the adaptation.

I Mom So Hard centers around two moms (Hensley and Smedley) who show how their friendship gets them through being wives and mothers. Flynn is set to play Brian, a hard-working, affable school teacher, and fun father. Brian is devoted to his wife, Kristin (Hensley) and he’s willing to put a smile on her face at any expense.

Prinze Jr. will portray Hale, who is married to Jen (Smedley). Hale is a work-from-home former athlete with a dry sense of humor. He has a great relationship with his wife’s best friend, Kristin, and her husband, Brian.

I Mom So Hard was written by Michelle Nader and co-written by Kristin Hensley and Jan Smedley. Nader executive produces alongside Thomas via his Spoondoolie Productions banner and his usual collaborators Danielle Stokdyk and Dan Etheridge.
