Ryan Murphy has posted a tease about Sarah Paulson and Evan Peters’ characters in American Horror Story: Cult
American Horror Story creator Ryan Murphy has been giving out hints for the upcoming season on Instagram (via TVLine). His latest tease is all about love. Murphy posted a hint for the upcoming chapter Cult, with a drawing of stars Sarah Paulson and Evan Peters with the caption, “Ally and Kai in CULT…a love story for the ages.” As you may recall, the characters played a couple in the last chapter. You can check out the post below.
American Horror Story: Cult will star Sarah Paulson, Evan Peters, Billie Lourd, Billy Eichner, Cheyenne Jackson, Alison Pill, Colton Haynes and Adina Porter. Ryan Murphy also previously revealed that Twisty the Clown will return, and that Lena Dunham will have a role in one episode of the season.
The Emmy, Golden Globe and AFI Award-winning series from co-creators Ryan Murphy and Brad Falchuk will return this fall to FX. The sixth installment, American Horror Story: Roanoke, recently received four Emmy Award nominations in the hairstyling, makeup and sound editing categories. The American Horror Story franchise is produced by Twentieth Century Fox Television.
Back in February, creator and producer Ryan Murphy revealed the theme during a guest spot on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen. He told Cohen,”Well, I don’t have a title, but the season we begin shooting in June is going to be about the election that we just went through. So, I think that will be interesting for a lot of people.” Cohen asked if there would “be, like a Trump in it,” Murphy responded, “Uh, maybe.” The first episode will reportedly take place on election night.
American Horror Story was renewed for two more seasons back in January and the series will premiere its first episode on Tuesday, September 5, 2017 at 10 PM ET/PT on FX.
