The Game of Thrones Comic-Con Exhibition brings winter to San Diego

Winter is here! Game of Thrones Season 7 has officially begun and now Westeros is coming to San Diego. HBO is giving San Diego Comic-Con goers a chance to experience the series up close. The Winter is Here Exhibition, located across from the Omni Hotel, will be available to anyone with a Comic-Con badge through this Sunday, July 23. CS got a special early look, however, and you can check out photos from the Game of Thrones Comic-Con environment below!

Offering individual shareable touchpoints based on George R.R. Martin‘s fantasy world, the Game of Thrones Comic-Con environment brings fans through touchpoints by having each one registered with their own Dragonglass RFID wristband, designed to capture each part of his or her passage through the event space. The journey will take fans through Winterfell, Dragonstone, King’s Landing and North of the Wall.

Every guest that goes through the experience is also given a custom SDCC Night King Funko Pop! figure, a t-shirt featuring the Night King key art and an exclusive Robert Ball Episode 7.01 mini-poster.

During the press preview, the Game of Thrones Comic-Con environment was also serving the new GoT wines from Vintage Wine Estates and the latest-themed beer from Brewery Ommegang, “Bend the Knee Golden Ale.”
