Already renewed for a 13th season that will debut October 12 at 8:00pm ET/PT, Supernatural follows brothers Sam (Jared Padalecki) and Dean (Jensen Ackles) Winchester, who have spent their lives on the road, battling every kind of supernatural threat. Over the years, after countless bloody adventures, they have faced everything from the yellow-eyed demon that killed their mother to vampires, ghosts, shapeshifters, angels and fallen gods. With the help of the fallen angel Castiel (Misha Collins), and the King of Hell, Crowley (Mark A. Sheppard), the Winchesters have straddled the line between good and evil.

Jody Mills made her debut on a fifth season episode of Supernatural. The Sheriff of Sioux Falls, South Dakota, Mills has since proven an ally to the Winchesters time and again.

Supernatural showrunners Andrew Dabb, Robert Singer, Phil Sgriccia and Robert Berens are set to executive produce Wayward Sisters. Dabb and Berens are set to script the backdoor pilot.

Should Wayward Sisters become a full series, it is noted that there are also plans to bring in other familiar Supernatural characters.
