TV Line is reporting that Jordana Brewster (upcoming Fast Five) has landed a lead role in TNT’s “Dallas” reboot.
The show, written by Cynthia Cidre and Warner Horizon, “centers on feuding cousins John Ross and Christopher, the offspring of brothers J.R. and Bobby Ewing, as they clash over the future of the Ewing dynasty,” says the site.
Brewster is set to play Elena, “the gorgeous daughter of the ranch’s cook who is locked in a love triangle with Christopher and John.”
Linda Gray and Patrick Duffy will reprise their roles of Sue Ellen and Bobby, respectively. The site adds that Larry Hagman has verbally agreed to return as J.R., but he has yet to sign a deal.
