Actor Omar Miller (Transformers) has joined the cast of “CSI: Miami” as a series regular and will first be seen Monday, Oct. 5 (10:00-11:00 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network. Miller portrays Walter Simmons, a Louisiana native and art theft specialist who transfers over from the night shift to join Horatio’s team.
Miller’s film credits include Shall We Dance, 8 Mile, Get Rich or Die Tryin’, Lucky You, Things We Lost in the Fire, Transformers, The Express, Miracle at St. Anna, and the upcoming Blood Done Sign My Name and The Sorcerer’s Apprentice.
On television, Miller’s credits include “Undefeated,” as well as guest-starring roles on “The West Wing,” “Law & Order: Special Victims Unit” and “Eleventh Hour.”
