“Prison Break” alums Matt Olmstead and Nick Santora are reuniting with Fox on “Break Out Kings,” a drama project revolving around ex-fugitives who are recruited to work as U.S. Marshals.
Variety says the network has given the 20th Century Fox TV project a script order with a hefty penalty attached if it doesn’t go to pilot. Olmstead and Santora wrote the pilot. Gavin Hood, helmer of X-Men Origins: Wolverine, is attached to direct and executive produce.
The project is described as a procedural based in New York, but the team will move around the country as it works on specific cases.
