ABC’s Revenge Series Finale Set for May 10

It seems that the four season finale of “Revenge” will actually be the show’s series finale. EW has just revealed that the ABC show, starring Captain America: The Winter Soldier‘s Emily VanCamp, will conclude in less than two weeks! “Plea,” the series’ penultimate episode, will air this Sunday, May 3, with the finale, appropriately titled “Two Graves,” set for May 10.

On the show, Emily Thorne (VanCamp) is, by all appearances, a friendly and sophisticated “girl next door,” but the exclusive world she has immersed herself in is tied to a dark family history, and Emily has quickly proven that she is anything but what she seems. After her father was framed for a horrific crime by neighbors he trusted and was sentenced to a life in prison, Emily never saw her father again and spent her childhood consumed by rage, loss and betrayal.

Years later, she returned to the Hamptons under an assumed identity with one endgame – Revenge, every social overture a carefully planned chip at the foundation of her sworn enemies until their lives come crashing down around them. Now, she must face the consequences of her actions and the havoc she has wreaked on those around her as she continues on her mission.

“We can officially tell our fans that this will be the end of the story,” executive producer Sunil Nayar tells the outlet. “We’ve been talking to the network and we all just wanted to make sure that we felt very confident. Now that everybody has seen the finale—which is fabulous—everybody understands that as much as we all adore the show, it has hit exactly the mark it needed to to end. This is the series finale of ‘Revenge’ that will be airing in a couple weeks.”

Of course, VanCamp’s shooting schedule for Captain America: Civil War may also have something to do with it. Although her involvement in the Anthony and Joe Russo sequel has yet to be fully confirmed, it’s a pretty safe bet that we’ll be seeing more of Agent 13 in Marvel Cinematic Universe before too long.

“Revenge” also stars Madeleine Stowe as Victoria Grayson, Josh Bowman as Daniel Grayson, Nick Wechsler as Jack Porter, Gabriel Mann as Nolan Ross, and Christa B. Allen as Charlotte Grayson.
