ABC has ordered a pilot for an untitled multicamera comedy starring Cedric the Entertainer.
The project, from ABC Studios, stars Cedric as a man who has always been the proud breadwinner for his family and has difficulty adjusting when his wife’s hobby turns into a multimillion-dollar enterprise.
“The King of Queens” alums Rock Reuben and Michael Soccio wrote the script with Cedric. Reuben is executive producing, with Soccio, Cedric and Cedric’s manager Eric Rhone serving as co-executive producers.
