Trio Joins ABC’s Carpoolers

Fred Goss, Jerry O’Connell and Jerry Minor have joined the cast of the ABC comedy pilot “Carpoolers,” reports Variety.

It’s a return to ABC for Goss, who starred in last season’s critically acclaimed but short-lived “Sons and Daughters.” The casting marks a switch for O’Connell, who has spent the last few years in the drama world, starring in NBC’s “Crossing Jordan.”

As for Minor, “Carpoolers” represents the comedian’s primetime series debut.

The pilot revolves around a group of four men who carpool to work. Goss plays Gracen, while O’Connell stars as dentist Laird and Minor is aboard as Aubrey. They join previously announced cast members Faith Ford, T.J. Miller and Allison Munn.

The show comes from ABC TV Studio and DreamWorks TV. Bruce McCulloch, Justin Falvey, Darryl Frank and David Miner are executive producers, while Anthony and Joe Russo are directing.
