Nick Cannon Joins Brooklyn Nine-Nine in a Recurring Role

Actor, entertainer and producer Nick Cannon (“America’s Got Talent,” Drumline) will be featured as a recurring guest on the second season of “Brooklyn Nine-Nine” as Captain Holt’s (Andre Braugher) nephew, Marcus. A handsome, educated and charming young man, Marcus has just moved to the city and is staying with Holt until he finds his own place. Cannon will first appear on the series in December.

“Brooklyn Nine-Nine” stars Golden Globe Award winner Andy Samberg as a talented-but-carefree detective and Braugher as his new precinct captain with a lot to prove. The series is produced by Universal Television, 3 Arts Entertainment and Fremulon. Created and written by Dan Goor (“Parks and Recreation”) and Michael Schur (“Parks and Recreation”), the series is executive-produced by Goor, Schur and David Miner (“30 Rock”).

A new, Halloween-themed episode of “Brooklyn Nine-Nine” airs this Sunday, October 19 at 8:30/7:30c on FOX.
