Cast for the role back in July, “Prison Break” star (and Stoker scribe) Wentworth Miller is taking on the role of Leonard Snart, the man who becomes Captain Cold, on The CW’s upcoming “The Flash” (which premieres tonight!). Now, Geoff Johns has set loose on social media two photos of Miller in full costume. Check them out below!
First appearing in 1957’s “Showcase” #8, “The Man who Mastered Absolute Zero” was raised by an abusive father and turned to a life of crime, inventing high-powered freeze rays that he uses in his ongoing conflicts with the heroes of the DC Universe.
Miller will debut in the series’ fourth episode, set to air October 28 on The CW.
“The Flash” arrives from co-creators Greg Berlanti and Andrew Kreisberg, who, along with Geoff Johns, wrote the pilot episode which was helmed by “Arrow” pilot director David Nutter. Grant Gustin will star as the titular hero along with Candice Patton as Iris West, Jesse L. Martin as Iris’s father, Detective West, Michelle Harrison as Barry’s mother Nora Allen and many others, including John Wesley Shipp, from the original “The Flash” TV series as Barry’s father.
