On the heels of yesterday’s update, which dropped a few clues about the upcoming second season of HBO’s “True Detective,” comes a report (via Deadline) that Colin Farrell is being sought for one of the season’s four leading roles.
Although the outlet seems pretty confident in their story, reporting Farrell’s involvement as being “deep in negotiations,” series scribe Nic Pizzolatto just yesterday asked fans to try and be patient.
“We’re not keeping any secrets,” he said in a conversation with The Daily Beast. “So when something concrete develops, we’ll announce it to everybody. But everything has just been empty rumors so far.”
