The AMC television drama “The Killing” has not fared as well as some of the cable channel’s other shows like “Breaking Bad” and “The Walking Dead,” but it managed to stick around for three seasons. Now, word has come in that Netflix has ordered a fourth and final season of the series from Fox Television Studios that will stream on Netflix as a 6-episode series finale.
Based on the popular Danish crime drama, the series followed a number of murder investigations, the first two seasons following the murder investigation of a teen girl by homicide detectives Sarah Linden (Mireille Enos) and Stephen Holder (Joel Kinnaman) and the third year the detectives uncovering a series of murders linked to Linden’s past.
