By ON

Last week brought the reveal that  Dylan Neal had been cast as DC comics villain Dr. Anthony Ivo in the upcoming season of Arrow. This lead many to believe that we’d be seeing the villain Amazo in the series in some form or another. Well, if you were one of the fans that speculated this, good news: you’re right!

CBR has just revealed that Jimmy Jean-Lous, whom you may know as “The Haitian” from Heroes, has been cast in the series as a character called “The Captain.” Little is known about the character, though we can confirm he will appear in multiple episodes. Here are the details the Arrow team shared about his character:

“The Captain is a mysterious and deadly associate of Anthony Ivo and has a connection to a mystery of Season 2 called the ‘Amazo.’”

There you have it. Amazo seems to be making some kind of appearance in the new season, but in what form remains to be seen. Will he be the super-power-mimicing android? Or something else? Sound off with your own theories on Amazo below!

The new season of Arrow is heavily expanding its roster of comic book characters and in addition to Dr. Ivo will include Summer Glau as Isabel Rochev, Caity Lotz as Black Canary, Michael Jai White as Bronze Tiger, Kevin Alejandro as Sebastian Blood, Bex Taylor-Klaus as Sin, Cynthia Addai-Robinson as Amanda Waller, and Grant Gustin as Barry Allen/The Flash later in the season.

Arrow season 2 premieres on Wednesday, October 9th at 8 p.m. ET/PT.
