Zombeavers To Invade the Big Screen March 2015

In an early AFM deal, Freestyle Releasing and Freestyle Digital Media announced today that they have acquired theatrical and VOD rights to the highly-anticipated horror-comedy Zombeavers, which was directed by Jordan Rubin from a script he wrote with Jon and Al Kaplan.

The film stars Rachel Melvin, Cortney Palm, Jake Weary, Lexi Atkins, Peter Gilroy, and Hutch Dano and was produced by Evan Astrowsky, Chris Lemole, Tim Zajaros, Jake Weiner, JC Spink and Chris Bender.

The Bruce Campbell Horror Film Festival is Coming!

The very first Bruce Campbell Horror Film Festival is being brought to life via a partnership between Philadelphia’s The Awesome Fest and Wizard World Inc.
The event descends on Rosemont, IL August 21st – 24th and will coincide with Wizard World Chicago Comic-Con. Expect the usual array of panels, special guests, movies and, of course, Bruce Campbell himself.

Beaver Jokes Galore in This Trailer for Zombeavers

What was last year’s proof of concept piece is this year’s anticipated (?) horror-comedy. Zombeavers is just one of the many films being shopped around at EFM in Berlin. Those cats behind Big Ass Spider, Epic Pictures, is handling sales and they have recently posted a trailer for Zombeavers.

Evan Astrowsky, JC Spink and Chris Bender produced and Jordan Rubin directed this tale of a group of kids who go out into the woods and encounter zombie beavers and bad “beaver” jokes.

Proof of Concept Trailer, First Details for Zombeavers

Filmmaker Jordan Rubin is at work on a horror-comedy called Zombeavers and Time has opted to give his micro-budget film the spotlight, debuting a proof-of-concept trailer for the film – which you can find inside.  Rubin is currently in post-production on the feature which was Evan Astrowsky, JC Spink and Chris Bender producing.

The film concerns a bunch of kids who head out to a cabin in the woods and get attacked by…zombie beavers.  Remember – it’s a horror-comedy.
