The U.S. Witching & Bitching Trailer is Familiar

IFC Films has released the U.S. trailer for Alex de La Iglesia’s trailer for Witching & Bitching and it’s a slight spin on the international trailer we’ve been worshipping here since last fall. It’s got a bit of new footage that you’ll want to check out. IFC is bringing the film to select theaters and VOD on June 13th. You can read our review here.

An International Poster for Alex de Iglesia’s Witching & Bitching

My love affair for the works of Alex de La Iglesia was renewed when The Last Circus made its way to the U.S.  Now I’m eager to see his latest foray into “the bizarre”: Witching & Bitching.  If you haven’t seen the trailers released for this one, I suggest clicking right here immediately.  The film is hitting overseas markets this fall; here in North America, it’s playing at Toronto International Film Festival and Fantastic Fest.  Inside, check out an international one-sheet and stay tuned for our coverage… We’re heading to Fantastic Fest next month!

The Second Trailer for Alex de Iglesia’s Witching and Bitching

Remember that nutso trailer we introduced you to back in March for Alex de Iglesia’s latest film Witching & Bitching?  Well, we now have a second preview to share with you and I love every minute of it.

The film introduces a gang of thieves who appear to pull off a public heist and then hit the road.  In their journey, however, they run into a coven of witches and then shit gets really weird.   It opens overseas this September.  And, if you’d like to peruse some photos, head to the Facebook page here!

Trailer: Alex de la Iglesia’s Witching & Bitching Looks Awesome

Alex de La Iglesia’s career has been varied, but I instantly fell in love with The Last Circus when that oddity reached the U.S.  It felt like he had been creatively reinvigorated and I looked forward to what he’d do next.  Following that film, he went on to do As Luck Would Have It (which I haven’t seen yet).  This year sees the release of Witching & Bitching and we have a trailer for you inside (courtesy of RTVE).

The preview looks great.  Fueled by some aggressive music, the visuals introduce a gang of thieves who appear to pull off a public heist and then hit the road.  In their journey, however, they run into a coven of witches and then shit gets really weird.  The film opens overseas this fall; we’ll keep you posted on domestic release news.
