?Wow, the last time we reported on The Final Girls was back in 2011. That was Todd Strauss-Schulson, the director of A Very Harold & Kumar 3D Christmas was attached to the project for New Line. The story, from screenwriters Mark Fortin and Josh Miller, found a teenage girl and her friends sucked into the ’80s slasher film that her mother starred in.
Jamie Lee Curtis is reteaming with her Halloween: H20 director Steve Miner for The Final Girls, a potential new series at ABC Family.
According to Deadline, “the drama revolves around a group of girls who have, in essence, survived their own personal horror stories, and are brought together by a mysterious older woman (Curtis) to channel the stress and scars of their experience for some greater good.”
