Anchor Bay Entertainment is bringing The Atticus Institute to DVD and Blu-ray on January 20th.
The film marks the directorial debut of Chris Sparling, who scripted Buried.
The film stars Rya Khilstedt, William Mapother, Harry Groener, John Rubenstein and Sharon Maughn.

Muck Finds a Home At Anchor Bay

Indie horror film Muck has been picked up by Anchor Bay Entertainment, says The Hollywood Reporter. You can watch an early sales trailer here. A new promo is expected to debut at Stan Lee’s Comikaze Expo in Los Angeles.

Steve Wolsh writes and directs the film which stars Kane Hodder, Lachlan Buchanan and Jaclyn Swedberg.

Comparison: This is How Halloween 6 Will Look on Blu-ray

I’m not even a fan of Halloween 6: The Curse of Michael Myers, but I’m very excited about the prospect of seeing the restored “Producer’s Cut.” To date, it has only existed in bootleg form, but thanks to Anchor Bay and Scream Factory, we’re getting a spiffy new version of the film in the Halloween: Complete Collection Blu-ray set.

Silent Night, Deadly Night 30th Anniversary Blu-ray On the Way

?I’m sure an official announcement from Anchor Bay is just around the corner, but various Blu-ray news sites are getting early details that Silent Night, Deadly Night is getting the Blu-ray treatment for its 30th annivesary.

The street date for this one is September 16th. No special features have been revealed, but we’ll update this spot as soon as we get more details.

Anchor Bay Sets Release Date for The Dead 2

Anchor Bay announced today that it has set a DVD and Blu-ray release date of September 16th for Howard J. Ford and Jon Ford’s The Dead 2 (it seems they dropped the “India” sub-title).

The first international zombie film production to be shot in India, The Dead 2 utilizes the spectacular vistas of Rajasthan, Delhi and Mumbai to create yet another unforgettable journey into the heart of darkness baked in sunlight.

Halloween The Complete Collection Package Art Revealed!

Michael Myers has hijacked Jason Voorhees’ favorite day! Anchor Bay and Scream Factory took this Friday the 13th (at 10:31am – get it?) to unveil the package artwork and more for Halloween The Complete Series – a Blu-ray collection of all of the Halloween movies made to date.

The Possession of Michael King Gets Release Date, First Photo Revealed

Anchor Bay Films has released the first photo for The Possession of Michael King (seen here). Also, it has revealed the film will hit theaters on August 22nd and be available on iTunes, On Demand, DVD and Blu-ray on August 26th.

Directed by David Jung, the film stars Shane Johnson, Dale Dickey, Julie McNiven and Thomas Arana.
