Chuck Gets 6 More, Scrubs Returns. Dec. 1

NBC has ordered up six more episodes of "Chuck" for midseason!

The network originally picked up 13 episodes of "Chuck" for midseason, and wasn't expected to bring the series back until March, after the Winter Olympics. But now that it has canceled "Southland," and "Trauma" appears unlikely to get a back nine order, NBC may be plotting an earlier return.

The third season's 19 episodes may now kick-off in January.

Meanwhile, ABC has announced that the revamped "Scrubs" will return to the network on December 1. The show will air Tuesdays at 9 p.m. starting that night. For its launch, "Scrubs" will also air a second original episode that night, at 9:30 p.m.

On Dec. 1, "Scrubs" 2.0 will bow behind the animated holiday special "Prep & Landing," which will air at 8:30 that night. The special features the voice of "Scrubs" star Sarah Chalke.

It's about time NBC finally decided to make a good decision about one of its few great shows. Chuck ftw!

I love scrubs more then anyone but come on. They ended the show in a very satisfying and joyful way. But to have a Saved by the bell esq return just makes me sick. Let Scrubs go its time.

I wonder what Network execs think when their new shows get worse ratings than ones they prematurely cancelled.

I'm shocked a GOOD decision has been made by a network for a change. Of course, you know what they say about an infinite number of monkeys and typewriters...they have to get it right sometimes.

Hey Hitchcock...please take a look on top of the webpage, see the selecetions? "TV" is the 3rd....CS is not just about movies you douche.
Back top the article: There is no bigger fan of Scrub than me, I own every single season on dvd...but they are beating a dead horse now. Like one of the posters said, they ended the series in a nice way. Let the show end with dignity.
