William Atherton to Guest Star on Lost

"Lost" writer and executive producer Carlton Cuse announced on his Twitter account that William Atherton will guest star on the final season of the hit ABC show. Cuse did so in the form of a clue:

Damon and I are die hard fans of this impeckable actor who keeps the barr high and just signed to guest star on the show. Life is good!

The 62-year-old actor starred in both Die Hard and Die Hard 2, his character's name in Ghostbusters was Walter Peck, he played Dr. Barr in "Desperate Housewives" and starred in "Life."

The final season will kick-off in January.

I sense a hint of nonchalance here, I for one am looking forward to this. Atherton is a great actor who is great at playing the guy everyone loves to hate but at the same time can grow to like him.

And no, this is not a joke.

P.S. Just cos his name wasn't at the top of the poster for Die Hard 1 & 2 doesn't mean he didn't star in them, that's like syaing Bonnie Bedalia wasn't a star even though she played McClane's wife.

Also, God I wish they'd bring Life back!!

Acutally, if your name isn't at the top of the poster, that does mean you were not the star......Are you honestly telling me that when you think of Die Hard, that you think of William Atherton???? Honestly?????
