SDCC: Lost Viral Clues Go Back to School

SDCC day three has started in Hall H with the "Lost" panel, prepping for the sixth and final season.

As fans entered the panel, they were handed viral flyers for "Lost University" (Note the polar bear mascot) which was also featured in an instructional video (the same featured on the site) at the head of the event. The website, LostUniversity.org, is set to open in full on September 22nd.

On the back of the flyer is a note about Professor Nussdorf needing a TA and a phone number, 818-824-6300. Calling the number results in an audio recording explaining that the professor, Adam Nussdorf, is currently on sabatical and will return on the same September 22nd date.

Some people just don't have the mental capacity for a show as intricate as LOST. "Blah! They don't know what their doing! Blarg! What the hell is a Smoke Monster! Yar!" Go watch the CW.

Just curious...has anyone done any research on any of the professor names? Are they symbolic? Anagrams? Anything?

Ok, did anybody else notice the guy sitting with the students with the beard? Did he resemble that guy DeGroot in the Orientation video Locke watched? Well, yes he did. We definitely need to find out more about that cat.

I thought Nussdorf might be an anagram, too, seeing as they've used them so many times before on the show, but I can't figure out what it might be an anagram for...Something Ford, maybe? James Ford? Sawyer? I really have no clue. Kind of a strange viral marketing campaign for Lost, isn't it? All this university stuff? Hmm...
