Freddie Prinze Jr. Joining 24

The Hollywood Reporter says Freddie Prinze Jr. is joining the cast of Fox's "24" as a regular, playing Davis Cole, a recently returned Marine who runs CTU Field Ops and wants to follow in Jack Bauer's (Kiefer Sutherland) footsteps.

On the real-time drama, whose upcoming eighth season started production Wednesday, Prinze joins fellow new cast additions Anil Kapoor, who plays a Middle East leader; Chris Diamantopoulos, as the president's new chief of staff; and John Boyd as a CTU systems analyst. All of them are regulars, while Jennifer Westfeldt has come aboard as a recurring, playing a a journalist.

Also cast as a recurring is Nazneen Contractor as Kapoor's daughter.

Maybe you should watch a SINGLE episode before judging it? How ignorant are you? From a scale of one to ten. Just one episode. All the way through. Judge it good or bad I dont care...just try being educated for once. They would NEVER do that on 24...for the love of God.

Not a '24' fan, but just reading the fact that my buffy's husband is on the show now, lol, and i seem to see a common theme amongst the boards here...and don't let the haters win!! f ck them over by NOT LISTENING TO THEM!!! they thrive on angst, i've discovered....anyhoo, just ignore the b tches that talk sh t about what u like, that's my advice :)
