Following up on the previously-posted news that Jennifer Aniston will guest star on NBC's "30 Rock," NBC has revealed that the former "Friends" star will play the free-spirited, Fatal Attraction-like stalker Claire Harper, Liz Lemon's (Tina Fey) former roommate from Chicago who randomly shows up in New York and attaches herself to Jack Donaghy (Alec Baldwin).

"What a thrill to have Jennifer back on NBC on a Thursday night. She is the perfect comedic talent to work with the Emmy-winning '30 Rock' cast," said Teri Weinberg, Executive Vice President, NBC Entertainment. "This promises to be a memorable, hilarious night of comedy."

"Jennifer is not only incredibly lovely to have around, she also has what the young people would call mad skills.' We're very excited that she's joining us," said Tina Fey, creator, executive producer and star of "30 Rock."

"30 Rock" premieres on October 30 (Thursday, 9:30-10 p.m. ET).

Ummm...i kinda do. And im sure a lot of other people do too. How can you possibly deny the fact that she was hillarious on friends? Even IF you dont think that movies like Bruce Almighty and the Break Up are funny, you cant deny the fact that the sitcom is where she excels. Her timing is spot on. Really...its so easy to hate. And also...do you really think NBC hired her like this..."Well her movies suck...thats pretty much the only reason we should hire her dont you guys think? Meeting over. Well done. Someone call Jennifer's agent." Ignoramus.

Or how about this "Those funny folks over at 30 Rock seem to be really smart and talented. I sure would love to work that cast and crew. Can you get in touch with Tina Fey and see if they can find a part for me on the show?" You guys are all hateful, cynical bastards.

30 Rock is the funniest show on TV right now. Justin J is right in that's how a lot of the guest stars got on this show. Did you see who all was on it last season? Jerry Seinfeld, Steve Buscemi, David Schwimmer, Elaine Stritch (for the second time!), Carrie Fisher, Matthew Broderick, Tim Conway... And the story goes that most of them called and asked if they could find a place for them on the show. It's slowly gaining momentum in terms of viewership. I expect it'll gain even more once it wins Outstanding Comedy Series again this month at the Emmys.

Anyone who's hating on 30 Rock can go back to watching trash like Two and a Half Men.
