Philbin to Guest on How I Met Your Mother

Regis Philbin will guest star on "How I Met Your Mother" in an episode to be broadcast Monday, Sept. 29 (8:30-9:00 PM, ET) on the CBS Television Network. Production on the episode begins Aug. 18.

Regis, who will star as himself in the episode, meets a burger-mad Marshall while on his quest to find the restaurant where he had his very first New York burger.

"How I Met Your Mother" airs Mondays (8:30-9:00 PM, ET) on the CBS Television Network.

Hey could anyone tell me if HIMYM is a good show? Is it really worth watching? I havent seen one episode but all my friends tell me its great. Im a NPH fan so I dont know why I never geave that show a chance.

How I Met Your Mother is definitely one of the finest shows on television currently. bsolutely love it, it's brilliantly written and the main five in the cast is tremendous to make it come alive.
I don't even have a favorite character, they're all so awesome in their own awesome way.

And rock on for Regis, this will totally be awesome.

HIMYM is definitely a show to watch. The NPH is awesome. The character he plays is pretty much a PG-13 rating of his persona in Harold and Kumar. Its a show that you dont really have to watch from the beginning but to gain more appreciation for the characters and the relationships that have been established its a good idea. Its definitely worth a look though.

I totally understand not quite trusting your friends' opinion and relying on complete strangers to give you that final okay before committing yourself to watching at least one episode of the show and making up your own mind, I mean it's a half hour show, right? You can never get that time back.

sam, its not a laugh track per say. they film the show and show the final piece to an audience. then they dub the laughs in.
