NBC Picks Up John Wells' LAPD
The hourlong drama will center on police in Los Angeles (as the title suggests). Ann Biderman -- whose credits include "NYPD Blue" -- is set to write the project, while Chris Chulack ("ER") will direct.
Wells, Biderman and Chulack are set as executive producers on "LAPD," which will come from Warner Bros. TV and John Wells Productions.
Wells' "ER" is set to go one more round as NBC will air the show's 15th and final season.
