The CW Announces Early Pickups of Series

The CW has announced early pickups of six series today, including the network's signature reality hit, "America's Next Top Model," four dramas and one comedy. All six series will return for the fall season.

The network's most popular series, "America's Next Top Model" will return with mega-star Tyra Banks for cycles 11 and 12. Returning dramas include the buzz-worthy freshman hit "Gossip Girl" and "One Tree Hill," returning for a sixth season.

Also renewed were the long-running Thursday night team of "Smallville," which will begin its eighth season, and "Supernatural," which will begin its fourth season. In addition, the critically acclaimed comedy "Everybody Hates Chris" will return for season four.

Unforutenately the writers said we will never see clark fly again on smallville. From what I've read clark and lois have to get together this fall because smallville is coming up on it's final season.

I'm struggling to stay interested in Smallville. I really think the only questions at this point left unanswered are 1.)How does Clark decide wearing tights and a cape is a good idea. 2.)What happend to Chloe? 3.) How will Lex find out the truth about Clark? 4.)When will he start flying.

I typically fast forward over anything involving romance or Lex getting shot (again!).

Yay for Smallville. I dont want to see him fly yet. I remember reading (back in the day) tht clark will never fly until the VERY last episode, but even then, how would you explain this sudden ability in one ep?

Be gone with the lovey dovey nonsence and bring on an actual fight! One tht last's a couple of ep's, and dosnt end with clark producing some kryptonian "artifact" tht beat's the bad guy!

Also , why would lois and clark get together in smallville? There not ment to be together until clark works at the daily planet, and there hasnt even been a mere hint at tht yet.
