Following his tease earlier this week of the original film's Benny's World of Liquor, Robert Rodriguez is back on Twitter today with another behind-the-scenes look at the upcoming "From Dusk Till Dawn: The Series." This time, it's another familiar fictional business: Big Kahuna Burger! Check out his photo below along with a newly released TV spot for the upcoming network.

Big Kahuna Burger made its first big screen appearance in Quentin Tarantino's Reservoir Dogs and was later heavily featured in his Pulp Fiction and a number of other Tarantino-adjacent projects, including the original From Dusk Till Dawn.

"That's one tasty burger," Rodriguez writes, quoting Samuel L. Jackson's Jules. "#FromDuskTillDawn only on the @Elreynetwork"

The new series stars D.J. Cotrona, Zane Holtz, Jesse Garcia, Don Johnson, Robert Patrick, Madison Davenport, Brandon Soo Hoo and Eiza González.

Based on the film of the same name, "From Dusk Till Dawn: The Series” is a supernatural crime saga centered around bank robber, Seth Gecko (Cotrona) and his violent, unpredictable brother, Richard “Richie” Gecko (Holtz), who are wanted by the FBI and Texas Rangers Earl McGraw (Johnson) and Freddie Gonzalez (Garcia) after a bank heist left several people dead. While on the run to Mexico, Seth and Richie encounter former minister Jacob Fuller (Patrick) and his family, whom they take hostage. Using the family RV to cross the border, chaos ensues when the group detours to a strip club that is populated by vampires. They are forced to fight until dawn in order to get out alive. The series deepens the tone of the film, adds new characters and backstories and expands the Mesoamerican mythology behind the creatures inside the club.

The 10-episode serialized drama will serve as the first original scripted series to air on the new El Rey Network, which launches this December.
