First announced earlier this year, J.J. Abrams is again teaming with J.H. Wyman to develop a new sci-fi series for Fox titled "Human." Today, TV Line reveals that an Abrams regular is now set to lead the cast with Karl Urban taking the role of John Kennex.

The series follows Kennex, a human police who is paired with android partner. The partner, Dorian, will be played by Michael Ealy with a supporting cast that includes Mackenzie Crook, Michael Irby, Minka Kelly and Lili Taylor.

Urban, who headlined last year's Dredd, will soon reprise his role as Dr. Leonard McCoy in Abrams' upcoming Star Trek Into Darkness.
