The New York Comic Con has officially kicked off and to start the exciting announcements come the reveal of some brand new toys and action figures from Hasbro.

FilmDistrict has released a New York Comic Con poster for Spike Lee's Oldboy which you can check out below (via EW).

The I, Frankenstein Facebook page revealed a new image from the film of one of its many demons, named Dekar, who is played by none other than the original comics creator Kevin Grevioux. In addition, they announced that Grevioux will be doing a fan meet and greet and signing for the graphic novel at New York Comic Con this Friday from 1-2 p.m.

Marvel has announced this morning that their new TV series "Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D." will have a heavy presence at this year's New York Comic Con. Read the full press release below to get all the details.

From this past weekend's New York Comic-Con, has an exclusive video interview with Beautiful Creatures writer/director Richard LaGravenese (The Fisher King, Water for Elephants).

The announcement that writer-producer Vivek Tiwary's graphic novel "The Fifth Beatle" would be made into a movie and that The Beatles have given him the rights to their catalog for the adaptation preceded the start of last week's New York Comic Con.

It was revealed at the New York Comic Con this weekend that Deadpool will be getting some help in his upcoming video game from one of his dear friends from the X-Men, Domino.'s horror site was at the Javits Center in New York City this past weekend for the 2012 New York Comic-Con and they attended panels and did interviews for what should be three of 2013's more anticipated horror flicks, Screen Gems' remakes of Carrie (out March 15) and Evil Dead (out April 12) and Saw and Insidious director James Wan's The Conjuring (out July 19).
