New York Comic Con 2014 kicked into high gear on Day 2 with the panel for "Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.EL.D." and while the live ratings may be on the lower side, you couldn't tell from the avid fans who stood in line for hours to get into the sold out main stage. There were already rumors going around that the attendance at this year's New York Comic Con surpassed that of San Diego and not surprisingly, they kept on trying to play the New York audience against the San Diego fans.

Production has begun on "Marvel's Guardians of the Galaxy," an upcoming animated-television series for Disney XD, featuring the hugely popular characters introduced in the record-breaking Marvel Studios film of the same name. The announcement was made today by Jeph Loeb, Marvel's Head of Television, at New York Comic Con. Produced by Marvel Television, the series stars Peter Quill as Star-Lord, the brash adventurer who, to save the universe from its greatest threats, joins forces with a quartet of disparate misfits Ė fan-favorite Rocket Raccoon, a tree-like humanoid named Groot, the enigmatic, expert fighter Gamora and the rough-edged warrior Drax the Destroyer. The series will premiere in 2015 on the Marvel Universe programming block on Disney XD.

NYCC: Check Out the Poster for Sonyís Powers Before taking the stage tomorrow at the New York Comic-Con panel for the new PlayStation series "Powers," the show's executive producer and comic book co-creator Brian Michael Bendis shared a personal note to fans over at the PlayStation Blog. He also revealed a first look at Eddie Izzard as the supervillain Wolfe. Check it out below!

Universal Partnerships & Licensing has announced that The LEGO Group will create original LEGO products in conjunction with the release of Jurassic World, the long-awaited next installment in Steven Spielberg's groundbreaking film series. The toys will be available in May 2015.†The announcement was made by UP&L President Stephanie Sperber and Jill Wilfert, vice president of global licensing and entertainment for The LEGO Group.

Hopefully, you already read the first portion of our coverage of Walt Disney Pictures' panel at New York Comic-Con on Thursday, and you may have noticed that we didn't say much about Walt Disney Animation Studios' Big Hero 6. We're making up for that now with what we left out yesterday, which was the first part of the panel that began with Big Hero 6.

The New York Comic-Con kicked off at the Jacob Javits Center on Thursday, October 9, with the very first panel being Walt Disney Pictures and Walt Disney Pictures Animation's presentation for Big Hero 6 and the mysterious Tomorrowland from director Brad Bird and producer/co-writer Damon Lindelof. was in attendance and we have a write-up of the footage shown from the latter portion of the panel.

Just revealed at the New York Comic Con, Walt Disney Pictures has brought online the teaser trailer and poster for director Brad Bird's Tomorrowland, starring George Clooney, Hugh Laurie, Britt Robertson, Raffey Cassidy, Tim McGraw, Judy Greer, Kathryn Hahn, Keegan-Michael Key and Thomas Robinson.

First Official Images from Brad Birdís Tomorrowland Revealed! On the heels of yesterday's first official images, the Brad Bird-directed and Damon Lindeloff-penned Tomorrowland is taking New York Comic Con by storm. Our own Edward Douglas is reporting from the event and just snapped the below photos of some nifty Tomorrowland, including a logo pin and a short prequel text story, "Before Tomorrowland". Marvel and Netflix have today revealed a new (albeit quite familiar) logo for their upcoming "Daredevil" series, which is also set to make a major showing at next week's New York Comic-Con.
