Gillian Jacobs, best known for her role as Britta Perry on "Community," has joined the cast of the Lakeshore Entertainment and Sidney Kimmel Entertainment comedy Walk of Shame, says a story at The Hollywood Reporter. She joins Elizabeth Banks and James Marsden, playing the best friend of Banks' character.
Walk of Shame follows a high-strung news anchor who, after a wild night out, finds herself locked out on the street with no phone, money, ID or car, and embarks on a series of misadventures as she finds her way to the most important job interview of her life.
Jacobs recently appeared on the big screen in Seeking a Friend at the End of the World and will join Jim Carrey, Steve Carell and Olivia Wilde in the upcoming magician comedy The Incredible Burt Wonderstone.
Steven Brill wrote and will direct the film. Lakeshore's Tom Rosenberg and Gary Lucchesi will produce alongside Sidney Kimmel.
FilmDistrict will distribute Walk of Shame in the U.S. Lakeshore and Sierra/Affinity recently kicked-off international sales at Novemberís American Film Market.
