While promoting the DVD and Blu-ray release of The Amazing Spider-Man, director Marc Webb openly answered several questions about the sequel to this year's film on his Twitter page. You can read some of the responses below.

He talked about the casting of actress Shailene Woodley as Mary Jane Watson, a role that we've learned won't be the central focus.

Also about costume design changes for the webhead in the sequel.

And he seems to be getting a long well with writer Roberto Orci and Alex Kurtzman who are working on the script for the sequel.

Andrew Garfield, Emma Stone and Shailene Woodley are attached to star in the May 2, 2014 release. Though it hasn't been officially confirmed, Jamie Foxx is expected to be playing Electro in the upcoming sequel. The Amazing Spider-Man is available now on DVD and Blu-ray.
