Earlier this year, ComingSoon.net was introduced to an intriguing space thriller called Europa Report when we were invited to the set of the movie, which quite oddly was shooting in Brooklyn, New York. While we're still holding on to what we learned there through various interviews, the production company has sent us the very first teaser for the movie, which is directed by Sebastián Codero (Cronicas) and stars Sharlto Copley (District 9), Michael Nyqvist (Mission: Impossible - Ghost Protocol), Daniel Wu, Anamaria Marinca (4 Months, 3 Weeks, 2 Days), Christian Camargo and Karolina Wydra.

In the movie, a group of astronauts, handpicked from around the world, make the arduous journey to Jupiter's frigid, glacial moon Europa in search of extraterrestrial life. The only thing more intimidating and unpredictable than the trip itself is what the team will encounter upon arrival...

The first teaser, which you can watch below, gives us the first look at the spaceship Europa as well as the first taste of the score by "The Walking Dead" and "Battlestar Galactica" composer Bear McCreary. It also gives some hints on how to continue the viral campaign which began earlier this year.
