In August, The Grey director Joe Carnahan released video sizzle reels designed to pitch his take on an adaptation of Marvel Comics' Daredevil (check them out by clicking here). Today, he's revealed one for another project, Walt Disney Pictures' now-cancelled Gemini Man.
In development some years ago, the film was, at one time, planned for Curtis Hanson to direct with a script by David Benioff and Jerry Bruckheimer producing. The story involves an over-the-hill hitman forced to do battle with a younger clone of himself.
As you can see in the video below (assembled from various clips), Carnahan's take would have cast Clint Eastwood in the lead. Though we won't see Gemini Man on the big screen anytime soon, Carnahan's take offers a fascinating glimpse into what might have been.
