Returning to theaters this Friday for another mission, The Expendables 2 brings to the big screen Barney Ross (Sylvester Stallone) and his team, Lee Christmas (Jason Statham), Yin Yang (Jet Li), Gunnar Jensen (Dolph Lundgren), Toll Road (Randy Couture) and Hale Caesar (Terry Crews), new members Billy the Kid (Liam Hemsworth) and Maggie (Yu Nan), appearances by Booker (Chuck Norris), Mr. Church (Bruce Willis) and Trench (Arnold Schwarzenegger) and the villainy of Jean Vilain (Jean-Claude Van Damme).
Things go bad when the team is enlisted to take on a seemingly simple job and one of the team is viciously killed. Hell-bent on payback, the crew cuts a swath of destruction through opposing forces, wreaking havoc and shutting down an unexpected threat in the nick of time - six pounds of weapons-grade plutonium; enough to change the balance of power in the world. But that's nothing compared to the justice they're prepared to serve against the villainous adversary who savagely murdered their brother.
ComingSoon.net sat down to speak with Statham, Couture, Crews and Lundgren about the epic scale of the new sequel and how they all lived up to Stallone's motto of making this one "bigger, badder and with more jokes."
