Walt Disney has always been the most prominent name in animation and while Pixar, DreamWorks Animation, Blue Sky Studios, Sony Animation Studios and other young upstarts have tried to steal Disney's thunder, they've kept things going by staying ahead of the times, switching to computer animation when that became the industry standard.
