Charlize Theron has her sights set on a murder mystery comedy,appropriately titled Murder Mystery, Deadline reports. She's already attached to produce the John Madden (The Best Exotic Marigold Hotel) project and is said to be in negotiations to star as well.
The script arrives from James Vanderbilt (Zodiac, The Amazing Spider-Man and is described as being a loving takedown of the Agatha Christie formula, focusing on an American couple who become involved in a whodunit while traveling abroad.
Production is being eyed for early next year as Theron is currently headed to Africa for Mad Max: Fury Road. She also recently became attached to Rupert Wyatt's Agent 13 and can currently be seen in theaters in both Prometheus and Snow White and the Huntsman.
