Ashley Greene has joined the cast of Randall Miller's CBGB, Variety reports. She'll play Lisa Kristal, daughter of the famous music venue's owner, Hilly Kristal.
Alan Rickman is set to star as the paternal Kristal, a man who, for more than three decades, owned and operated the real life CBGB until a rent dispute forced the club to close in 2006. Kristal tragically died the following year.
Greene, best known for playing Alice Cullen in The Twilight Saga, also joins Malin Akerman, Kerry Bische, Evan Alex Cole, Johnny Galecki, Rupert Grint, Taylor Hawkins, Stana Katic, Joel David Moore, Steven Schub, Mickey Sumner and Peter Vack in the film, to be directed by Miller from a script he co-wrote with Jody Savin.
