Steve Carell has lined up another comedy at Warner Bros., Deadline reports. The trade says that the Incredible Burt Wonderstone star will appear in the as-of-yet untitled film opposite Jake Johnson ("New Girl," Safety Not Guaranteed).

Plot details are few, but Max Winkler (Ceremony) is attached to direct and the storyline is said to involve the mob and is based on a story by Johnson and Winkler, who will also produce. Rodney Rothman, meanwhile, will provide the screenplay.

The news comes on the heels of the announcement earlier this week that Carell is eyeing Lisa Choldenko's Alexander and the Terrible, Horrible, No Good, Very Bad Day at 20th Century Fox.
