On the top floor of a New York hotel, a former cop orders one last meal from room service and then, opening the window, steps out onto the side of the building, inches away from a deadly fall to the busy street below. Despite appeareances, this is no suicide attempt, but instead the beginning of a mystery that begins to unravel with an ensemble cast of players.
Opening in theaters this Friday Man on a Ledge stars Sam Worthington as a cop-turned-fugitive who has a plan to prove his innocence in the most unlikely way possible. Tied up in the plot are his brother (Jaimie Bell) and his brother's girlfriend (Genesis Rodriguez), his former partner (Anthony Mackie) and the police officers tasked with trying to talk him down (Elizabeth Banks and Edward Burns).
The solo feature debut of director Asger Leth, Man on a Ledge's high-concept plot arrives from screenwriters Pablo Fenjves, Erich Hoeber and Jon Hoeber and also stars Ed Harris, Titus Welliver, and Kyra Sedgwick.
