Meryl Streep will again work alongside her The Devil Wears Prada director. The multiple Oscar winner will appear in David Frankel's Great Hope Springs, according to a story at the The Hollywood Reporter.
The script, from Vanessa Taylor (the creator of the television series "Jack & Bobby" and writer on "Everwood" and "Alias"), tells the story of a couple working out their lives together following a 30 year anniversary.
Streep was connected to the part last year, said likely to appear opposite Jeff Bridges in the role of her husband. At the time, there was also speculation that Phillip Seymour Hoffman was up for a part. While, currently, there is no update on who will be taking the male lead, plans should be announced soon as the film targets an August production start.
