New Trailer for Charlie St. Cloud

Universal Pictures has debuted this new trailer for Charlie St. Cloud, starring Zac Efron, Amanda Crew, Donal Logue, Charlie Tahan, Kim Basinger and Ray Liotta. Opening in theaters on July 30, the drama was directed by Burr Steers.

Based on an acclaimed novel, the film stars Efron as a young man who survives an accident that lets him see the world in a unique way. In this emotionally charged story, he begins a romantic journey in which he embraces the dark realities of the past while discovering the transformative power of love.

I'm too emotional for this shiznit! I nearly cry just watching this freaking trailer. I don't even think this movie will be that good, kind of Hallmarkish feeling, but still a tear jerker I'm sure of it!

I feel like if this movie has any chance of making money at the box office, they need to have a trailer that shows people exactly what the movie is. It just seems like a really hard movie to market.

Personally, this seems like a decent film. Sure, it looks overly sentimental, but that is what I find charming about the trailer. It looks well made for the type of film it is.

so the first trailer they had him chose between the girl he likes and his brother and in this trailer they have rescuing her but its okay for w/ his brother... hmmmmm

It looks like a pretty good movie. I didn't want to see 17 again because of Efron, but when I watched it I was pleasantly surprised. The guy is pretty good. It looks like he is trying to hone his talents with this movie. I'll go see it.
