Exclusive: First Look at Pixar Short Day & Night!

ComingSoon.net has your exclusive first look at the Pixar short that will play in front of Toy Story 3 theaters on June 18. The short, titled "Day & Knight," was directed by Teddy Newton and is described as follows:

When Day, a sunny fellow, encounters Night, a stranger of distinctly darker moods, sparks fly! Day and Night are frightened and suspicious of each other at first, and quickly get off on the wrong foot. But as they discover each other's unique qualities--and come to realize that each of them offers a different window onto the same world--the friendship helps both to gain a new perspective.

Love it . Pixar doing 2D. (Ratatouille end credits and the "Your Friend the Rat" short on the DVD , also in 2D . They should do a 2D feature . That would kick start good quality hand-drawn again , more so than Disney's Princess movie .

It's a 2D animated short film? Yes! Thank gosh it will be in front of Toy Story 3! Can't wait for Toy Story 3! I remembered when Pixar did a 2D animated short film called Your Friend the Rat which was on the Ratatouille DVD.
