Walt Disney Pictures has provided us with the new trailer for producer Jerry Bruckheimer's Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time, opening in theaters on May 28. Directed by Mike Newell, the video game adaptation stars Jake Gyllenhaal, Ben Kingsley, Gemma Arterton, Alfred Molina and Toby Kebbell.

In the epic action-adventure, a rogue prince (Gyllenhaal) reluctantly joins forces with a mysterious princess (Arterton) and together, they race against dark forces to safeguard an ancient dagger capable of releasing the Sands of Time—a gift from the gods that can reverse time and allow its possessor to rule the world.

Congrats Gambit.....now go get a life.

This looks very promising. I've never played the game or know the story behind it so I have nothing to compare it to.

I've got agree with Crazy Artist. It looks like a lot of fun. I've played the first reboot and the last one that came out, which was a reboot of the reboot. I didn't beat either one. Kinda got hard and I kinda got into other crap. But they were very good and a lot of fun. I'm sure that this movie will have the good fun you are seeking. Just don't go to be changed or challenged to think.

Doesn't look like its following the plot to the first sands of time game but that's okay. I'd rather have a movie that draws inspiration from the source material and stands alone because its am enjoyable movie. Rather that than a movie that just tries to be exactly what the game and be a crappy movie.

None the less, its looking better and better the closer it comes to being released.

Completely epic. I'm excited to see what Gylenhaal does in an action role. It's one of those things that dramatic actors struggle with is crossing genres into something they haven't done before. Counting down the days for this one.
