Nobody is going to see Iron Man because of Gwyneth Paltrow. They could have cast any half-talented, good looking actress and it still would have made been a success.

I like Gwyneth and have not seen her give a bad performance yet (to be fair, I haven't seen all her films but I have seen a lot of them). I agree with the poster about Marion not being that great. She was brilliant in La Vie on Rose but in everything else, she's been complete crap. I think she's just too french. Like in Public Enemies, I didn't know what the Hell she was trying to say because her french accent kept poking out when she was trying to have a.... I don't even know what accent she was trying to pull in that movie. If Marion's role takes place in France, then I'll appreciate her role I'm sure. If not, she's going to suck. And also to the poster that doesn't want her to be Catwoman, I think Thandie Newton should be Catwoman. Smart, sexy, sophisticated and a great presence in any film. Even the crappy ones like Norbit and 2012!
