Walt Disney Pictures has provided ComingSoon.net with the new domestic and UK trailers for Tim Burton's Alice in Wonderland, opening in conventional 3D theaters and IMAX 3D on March 5th. The UK trailer has a different opening. You can watch both trailers using the players below!

Johnny Depp stars as the Mad Hatter and Mia Wasikowska as 19-year-old Alice, who returns to the whimsical world she first encountered as a young girl, reuniting with her childhood friends: the White Rabbit, Tweedledee and Tweedledum, the Dormouse, the Caterpillar, the Cheshire Cat, and of course, the Mad Hatter. Alice embarks on a fantastical journey to find her true destiny and end the Red Queen's reign of terror. The all-star cast also includes Anne Hathaway, Helena Bonham Carter and Crispin Glover.

Not bad at all. Right up Burton's alley. This should be a lot of fun to watch in 3D.

nice trailer. but why is only johnny depp listed as actor. and why does he do sword-fighting
also the queen says: alice is back in wonderland - so it isnt "alice in wonderlnd", but more "through the looking glass"?
i spotted the jabberwocky (voiced by christopher lee in the end)

am i the only one not looking forward to this film?

All i ever get with springboard vids is the sound and then when I click to close it, I get a brief glimpse of the video. Why is this?

I'm getting the impression that this is a not only a combination of both books, but kind of a sequel to them. Especially since Alice in a teenager. She was 4 in the first book and 7 in the second, I believe. Either way, I think it'll be awesome.

So the story's got sort of a "Hook"-ish angle to it? Hmm.

I'm interested in how this pans out. Color me curious.

correction
YOU are the only one who will be forced to watch it - all other are free to decide not to watch it, if they also aren't looking forward to this ;)

I believe this is actually based on the game American Maghee's Alice. It has a lot of the Elements from it and when it was first rumored it was mentioned.
