Interactive Avatar Trailer Now Online

20th Century Fox has launched a new "Interactive Trailer" on the official website for James Cameron's Avatar that uses the Adobe Air technology and features new profiles on Jake Sully (Sam Worthington), Neytiri (Zoe Saldana), Trudy Chacon (Michelle Rodriguez), Selfridge (Giovanni Ribisi), Dr. Grace Augustine (Sigourney Weaver), and the designs for the Samson, Banshee, Scorpion, Thanator and AMP suit. You can download the "Interactive Trailer" to your desktop here!

Opening in conventional 3D theaters and IMAX 3D on December 18, the film stars Sam Worthington, Zoe Saldana, Sigourney Weaver, Michelle Rodriguez, Giovanni Ribisi, Joel David Moore, CCH Pounder, Peter Mensah, Laz Alonso, Wes Studi, Stephen Lang and Matt Gerald.

I thought this was kind of a stupid concept at first, but if your computer is fast enough to load it, it's sort of fun and actually streams seamlessly (No loading skips / freezing). Can't wait for this movie!

I'm a huge sci fi fan, huge film buff in general and yet this film does nothing for me. I'm conflicted, because a part of me says: "get excited!" but the rest of me says...why?
