You can watch the clip using the player below and it is followed by two segments from CNN who interviewed Cameron and aired even more footage. The second CNN video shows the entire interview with Cameron.

Poopy. Lmfao. Officially the worst comment I've heard about Avatar.

(To all the inevitable haters that are gonna flood this...)

This movie doesnt need the couple hundred haters that are lurking this site and the internet as a whole. It's going to be hugely successful without their help. Find something else to whine about because you arent winning here.

Sorta tired of hearing about this movie. Not planning on going out of my way to see this, unless I get a free ticket. But why all the hype? It looks okay sure, and the 3D might be interesting, but all the trailers I have seen, it won't "reinvent the theater". The writing looks iffy, the story has been used before (Fern Gully), and the special effects don't look photo realistic. I don't think this will be what some are hoping it will be. A huge cross section of the populace hasn't heard of this movie, or won't go see it. Word of mouth may help, but more than likely will get a decent turnout, and that's it? Anyone know how this will work on DVD?

RSL wins!

For one of the biggest most expensive movies ever, I'm a little surprised they're recycling the roar of the T-rex from Jurassic Park. Still excited, just surprised.

Re: RSL wins!
I am also surprised to hear the T-rex roar recycled. It's such an iconic sound, most people can pick it out immediately-even those who aren't total movie buffs. That disappoints me a little, but I'm still excited for the movie overall. Maybe sci-fi and fantasy are making a comeback, between Avatar and Clash of the Titans and all.

My guess is that sound FX is just a placeholder. Trailers and early release footage rarely have the final sound mix, for FX or score.

The more I see of this movie, the better it keeps looking!
I love how the writing, story, fx, sound are all being judged from trailers! They're trailers people!

When I look at stuff like that clip it makes me so sad for how Lucas crapped the bed with the Star Wars prequels and his use of CGI.

I'm grateful for Jim Cameron every time he puts out a movie - because you know there is nothing egotistical or studio about it - he's a guy who loves making movies - and it's a nice side dish that most of them include aliens, spaceships and killer robots!

I'll be seeing this in theatre - and I'll probably end up sitting next to one or two of the "I'll never see this movie blah blah blah" types. I dare you not to see this movie!
